Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to support SARsatX’s financial operations on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for candidates who seek flexibility while contributing to a dynamic, innovation-driven company. You will work closely with and be mentored by the Finance Manager, gaining exposure to strategic financial planning, investment oversight, and internal reporting.

You will be responsible for core accounting functions and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Internal Syncing: Regularly coordinate with the Finance Manager to consolidate financial data and support decision-making.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure alignment with Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat), and assist with audits and regulatory filings.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in improving internal controls, automating tasks, and streamlining financial workflows.
  • Mentorship: Collaborate with the Finance Manager on financial models, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience; startup or tech sector experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with accounting softwares.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting practices and regulations in KSA.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
