
Finance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Strategy Development: Design and implement forward-looking financial strategies that align with the organization’s long-term vision, capital structure, and growth objectives, particularly in the real estate sector.
• Financial Reporting & Governance: Oversee the preparation, analysis, and presentation of accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, ensuring adherence to IFRS and regulatory standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of dynamic financial models, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts; provide deep-dive variance analyses to identify performance drivers and deliver actionable insights.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance standards; serve as the key liaison with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and tax advisors.
• Risk management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks, establishing internal controls and risk mitigation strategies tailored to the real estate environment.
• Operational Finance Oversight: Supervise all aspects of financial operations including AP/AR, payroll, treasury functions, and general ledger accuracy, with a focus on real estate project cost tracking and allocation.
• Financial Analysis & Insights: Conduct strategic financial analysis to support investment decisions, project feasibility, and ROI assessments across the real estate portfolio.
• Team Leadership: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance finance team, fostering a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, development teams, and asset management to integrate financial strategy into operational execution and business planning.
• Investment & Capital Management: Evaluate investment opportunities, oversee real estate asset performance, and manage financing arrangements to ensure capital efficiency and optimal returns.
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, reporting workflows, and ERP processes to enhance operational excellence and financial agility.Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent financial certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial management, with a strong background in the real estate sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working with WAFI is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and executive stakeholders.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven ability to drive financial strategy, evaluate large-scale investments, and deliver insights that support strategic business objectives.
